VMware Top Resellers Achieve Premier Enterprise Status
Seven resellers across Europe achieve highest level of VIP Partner Network
London, UK, February 2, 2005 — VMware, Inc., the global leader in virtual infrastructure software for industry-standard systems, today announced the first seven Premier Enterprise Partners to be appointed in Europe as part of its recently expanded channel program. Allianse in Norway, Bechtle IT Systemshaus M Echen/Regensburg VMware Competence Centre and becom Informationssysteme GmbH in Germany, Comparex in The Netherlands, Ermestel in Spain, IBS in Portugal and WE! in Israel have all qualified for the highest level of VMware resellers.
Since the announcement of its expanded channel program in October 2004, VMware has been assessing its Enterprise Partners to identify those eligible for the Premier Enterprise level. Premier Enterprise Partners are the highest level in VMware's VIP Partner Network and represent the most technically skilled and committed resellers who have made VMware solutions integral to their business. In addition to training at least four technical staff as VMware Certified Professionals, Premier Enterprise Partners are all members of the VMware Authorised Consulting Program.
