VMware Partner Base Tops 1,000; VMware Expands Channel Program

SAN DIEGO, October 27, 2004 — At VMworld 2004, VMware, Inc., the global leader in virtual infrastructure software for industry-standard systems, today announced its partner base now exceeds 1,000 channel partners worldwide. In response to this tremendous growth, VMware is expanding its VIrtual Partner (VIP) Network and creating a new Premier Enterprise level as well as investing in tools to facilitate increased business volumes with its partners.
