Carbon Black’s Colleen Grounds and Melanie Holterhoff Named to CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel List

WALTHAM, Mass., May 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Carbon Black (NASDAQ:CBLK), a leader in next-generation endpoint security, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Colleen Grounds, Director of Channel Marketing, and Melanie Holterhoff, Channel Marketing Manager, to its prestigious 2018 “Women of the Channel” list.

The women who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

CRN also named Colleen Grounds to its list of 2018 Power 100, an elite subset of its prestigious annual Women of the Channel list.

CRN’s editorial team selects Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the channel. The Power 100 belong to an exclusive group drawn from this larger list: women leaders whose vision and influence are key drivers of their companies’ success and help move the entire IT channel forward.

As the director of channel marketing, Colleen Grounds manages a series of critical tools and resources for partners such as the partner portal, enablement, communications, and channel content. As a result, Grounds has restructured the channel marketing team to support the company partner strategy and created new processes to make it easier for partners to do business with Carbon Black.

Melanie Holterhoff is the channel marketing manager at Carbon Black. She is responsible for creation of partner specific content, working directly with the product marketing team to create easy to use, quick reference materials for Carbon Black’s channel partners. Holterhoff built out strategic marketing plans with several national partners to drive pipeline and sales for Carbon Black.

“This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives.”

“Congratulations to both Colleen and Melanie for this recognition from CRN,” said Victor Baez, Carbon Black’s VP of Worldwide Channel. “It’s truly a testament to their hard work and dedication to support and enhance all areas of Carbon Black’s partner program, including enablement, profitability, and tools. With Colleen and Melanie’s contributions, our team will continue to focus on growth, customer retention and customer satisfaction.”

The 2018 Women of the Channel and Power 100 lists will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc
