Bit9 + Carbon Black Appoints Joe Tibbetts to Board of Directors

Sapient CFO has extensive experience with market-leading public companies

WALTHAM, Mass.—Sept. 15, 2015—Bit9® + Carbon Black®, the market leader in endpoint threat prevention, detection and response, today announced the appointment of Joe Tibbetts to its board of directors. The company also named Tibbetts chairman of the board’s audit committee.

Tibbetts brings 40 years of technology company finance and operations experience—including 20 years as a CFO and another 20 in public accounting—to Bit9 + Carbon Black. Currently, he is senior vice president and CFO of Sapient, the digital platform of Publicis Groupe.

Tibbetts, who spent 20 years at Price Waterhouse LLP (now PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP) as audit partner and chairman of the firm’s Software Services Group, said: “Cyber security is a critical need for every organization.
