IT運用担当者はVMware vSphereツールを使用してKubernetesクラスタを開発者に提供し、また、開発者はKubernetes APIを使用してSDDC（Software-Defined Data Center）インフラにアクセスできます。Project Pacificにより、開発者とIT運用担当者の双方が、VMware vSphereのKubernetesのコンストラクトを介して一貫性のあるビューを利用できます。
