We’re incredibly proud to announce that Wavefront by VMware is a winner of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD in the discipline communication category. Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD. The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design recognitions in the world, honoring design achievements across different disciplines with a focus on innovation and elaboration, functionality, aesthetics, responsibility and positioning. This year, competition was particularly intense as the awards received 7,298 entries from 56 nations, and submissions underwent the scrutiny of a 78-member jury.
Wavefront by VMware received recognition for its ability to fuse human design and technical complexity to make developers’ lives easier. Imagine if a video streaming service, car hailing app or social network are down for some reason. Their developers need to be firefighters jumping into it no matter where they are, what they are doing, or what time it is. With predefined and customizable dashboards, Wavefront by VMware helps developers verify that their cloud services are working as expected, alerts them if anything goes wrong, and guides them to fix the problems as quickly as possible.
